Video wall requirements
A video wall groups multiple displays to show one large-scale piece of content. To keep them visually aligned, two technical requirements matter most.
Ethernet connection (required)
Why
Synchronization across displays depends on low, stable latency on the local network. Each screen needs to receive content-switch commands at nearly the same time.
WiFi adds variable latency and brief dropouts. Displays may switch content at different moments — you will see a visible offset between panels.
What to do
Connect every display in the wall with an Ethernet cable to the same switch or network segment. Other displays in your account that are not part of the wall can still use WiFi.
Same hardware model
Why
Different models (another manufacturer, SKU, or platform) decode and render at different speeds. Even on the same network, frames may not line up across screens.
What to do
Use the same display model across the entire wall. The app will warn you if it detects mixed models in a group.
If requirements are not met
The wall may still play content, but look out of sync. QDS does not guarantee visual synchronization under these conditions (see Terms and Conditions, §7).
